Dr Clown - Trainers
Trainers

You don’t become a clown overnight.

It takes artistic excellence and solid knowledge of the working environment. With the training provided by Dr Clown, select professional artists can adjust their style to the backdrop of health care and home care facilities. The training also focuses on adapting their knowledge and sensitivity to the different clienteles they serve.

Ongoing training is essential for Dr Clown’s artists

It provides clowns with regular opportunities to hone their craft, discover new techniques and receive personal support. Training takes a two-pronged approach: artistic and psychosocial.

Artistic: Enables clowns to continue developing their clown character, technique and collaborative skills for working in pairs while exploring common hospital scenarios in true clown fashion.

Psychosocial : Fosters open dialog in a group setting to share difficult or troublesome experiences, as well as training on more specific topics such as knowledge of pathologies, hygiene, multicultural considerations and the weekly realities of the hospital setting.
