Volunteers are an integral part of Dr Clown. Your current and future support is essential to developing and expanding our services to hospitalized children, adults and seniors.

Dr Clown is always in need of inspired volunteers, and all types of volunteering are equally important.

For example, you could:

• Provide temporary assistance to the organization during fundraisers or promotional events.
• Provide ongoing administrative support for editing or translating texts, etc. If you have special skills in any field from graphic design to accounting, we’d love to hear from you.

Dr Clown takes volunteering seriously. We’re committed to providing appropriate, flexible monitoring and coaching that allows our volunteers to understand the full impact of their involvement and support.

For reasons of safety, hygiene and contamination, volunteers cannot accompany therapeutic clowns on their visits to health care facilities.

The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement

Dr Clown’s volunteering policy is based on the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement, which outlines the values, principles and standards for effective volunteer practices in Canada.
