If you had a child or elderly parent in hospital for a long stay, wouldn’t you be thrilled to see a joyful pair of clown doctors visit your family member once a week? Your support can bring joy to a hospital room! Join us! Your donation can make a difference. We are counting on your help.
Individuals who support Dr Clown include people from different backgrounds, and are an integral part of our program. Their financial contribution, however big or small, testifies to their sense of responsibility and their commitment to others.
Donate a day
One way of becoming a Friend of Dr Clown, that appeals to many donors, is to cover the basic cost of one or several days of clowning for patients, i.e. $500 per day. We can inform you of the chosen dates by e-mail, so that you know exactly which day you have made brighter for a hospital patient. If you wish, we can post your name and the date(s) on our website and include a dedication or an in memoriam. We will, of course, be happy to receive the gift of a part of a day of clowning, too – any donation at all will be gratefully accepted.
Tax receipts
Dr Clown is recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization. Tax receipts are automatically issued for any donation over $20. Please make out your cheque to Dr Clown and send it to our office at the following address:
