Therapeutic arts in general, and clown-doctors in particular, are attracting more and more attention around the world, as much in the field of research on complementary health-care services and humanizing care as in the field of social and humanitarian artistic practice.  Dr Clown is making an effort to document this work by collecting articles, other publications, and audio-visual and multi-media presentations on the subject and by compiling relevant information.

Documentation centre

Dr Clown has decided to gradually set up a documentation centre, identifying and storing documents on various therapeutic arts, and most especially on clowning, both in its offices and on its website.

As a charity, it is important for us to make this contribution of easily accessible information to researchers, health-care staff, the media, artists, and the general public.

We invite you all to contribute to this data base and, eventually, to consult it as needed.  Our psychosocial director, Florence Vinit, is in charge of the project and can be contacted at psychosocial@drclown.ca
